O course, any Samplitude user faced the fact we lost or deleted some wave files *.wav or *.aif and the we have to live with the constantly reminder on each start of the project that we have a missing file in the project. Sometimes we search it all over the computer because we are not sure anymore we need it or it is something we don't really need.

The flowing message arrive: A file *.wav of the VIP Can't be opened. Do you want to search in another directory or skip this file?

• Copy the file name and the skip the unwanted or unneeded file
  • View Menu
    • Manager
      • Object Manager - Right Click on toolbar of Object Manager and Enable Wave Project to enable you to see the original position of the file in question.
        • Right Click on the file and delete it. Your project is now clean and can load without any other stops or questions.
